Review on OttLite T18330 Replacement Tube Bulb by Dan Kedzior

Delivery took a while. I read the reviews before ordering and found that some of my concerns were in line with most of theirs. First I bought a lightbulb from a fabric/craft store to match my lamp, but I had to return it because it didn't fit my Ott-Lite floor lamp. On return I was told that they no longer sell the original bulb for my lamp. Terrible to hear! The lamp was not cheap and is still quite expensive to sell. After reading the reviews on Revain, which were all helpful btw, I realized I needed to adjust my lamp and possibly disassemble it to do so. It scares! My neighbor is an electrician so I asked his opinion and he suggested I take a pair of needle nose pliers and pry the clog out. It worked and now I can use the bulbs I bought. This is a very good lamp and I was so worried that I would never use it again. It's disappointing that I didn't have a chance at the time to know what was going to happen and what to do. Now I know how to contact Ott Lite support.
