All the people with negative reviews obviously didn't read what they ordered. This is an empty shell. This is exactly what I wanted as the electronics and key for my Kia still worked perfectly - the rubber buttons were just starting to rot. Five minutes to rearrange the chipboard and key and I have a brand new key fob. You will need to wind the spring once when installing the key blade to ensure it pops out when you press the release button. Just watch carefully as you take apart your original key or one of these keychains to see exactly how the spring wraps around it.
