Magnifying glass is useless. I should have looked at the other reviews. The loupe focuses at a distance of approximately 6 inches from the region of interest. The tweezers are only about 4 cm long and are attached to a magnifying glass. Guess what? You should hold the magnifying glass far enough that the tips of the tweezers don't reach what you want to pluck. Or if you grab something with tweezers, you can't focus with the magnifying glass because it's too close. The tweezers themselves are great. They are handcrafted and will grab even the thinnest splinters. First I bought another pair of magnifying tweezers. The magnifying glass was excellent, the tweezers were not good. With this set the tweezers are great but the magnifying glass is not good. Wouldn't it be great to be able to combine the best of both worlds? I would pay good money if I could find a quality set with a great magnifying glass and tweezers.
