Great but beware

Beware! Before shorting, make sure the wires are securely fastened! One of mine slipped out and I couldn't open it again without breaking it. This happened 2 times so I spent a couple of them. But in general it worked, it was just what we needed to extend the wiring on the chandelier. Small enough to fit in the "lower stem" of a chandelier, which was great
