Well made, good weight, great straight sides with no annoying rounded corners or places to hide batter. Has a nice release, albeit not non-stick. I prefer the aluminum coating over the dark brown nonstick because it seems to make for a nicer end product. Everything is considered a very good frying pan, delivering professional results at a reasonable or at least competitive price compared to other frying pans of similar quality. I choose the 3-inch depth for its versatility, but if you plan on using the pan for something relatively thin (brownie) or if you're slicing one piece at a time, consider the 2-inch depth. Usually when baking or making candy I make a parchment dressing that I want to take out entirely so the 3 inch depth isn't an issue for me and I have more room for cupcakes to rise when baked without puffing up to take care of it.
