I have seen these used on movie sets when women are wearing heels in scenes shot on grass so their heels don't sink and I figured I should get them for a wedding I was in. They started out good, I measured my heels before purchasing these and the protectors fit nice a snug, but after walking across a parking lot I started to feel unstable. During photos I realized they were making it harder to walk as I have a habit of putting more weight on the outsides of my feet and these heel protectors started slanting to one side. (To be fair, the photos were taken on grass and these protectors did keep my stilettos from sinking.) I did adjust the protectors, but they had stretched out and worn down in such a way after little more than an hour of wear that they were never quite right again. I ditched them for the ceremony because I was worried I would fall.
