very easy to clean. I'm not sure if the stainless steel paint buttons are actually metal. Haven't had a dental test yet. Installation seemed easy to a friend who installed it for me. I personally prefer one of the tiny front burners as that is my most used burner and when I have large pots it's nice not to have to reach behind them to get to the smaller pan. I like that the grids are connected. This gives pans of different sizes more stability. However, I like to melt butter in a stainless steel measuring cup and the gap is too wide. It's okay, it's just that the style of cooking has changed. Overall I am very happy with the hob.
