Review on Delphi GN10168 Ignition Coil by Erik Snyder

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible, terrible, terrible!

Don't you dare call them OEM. That is trash"! I installed a set of 6 on my 2002 Honda Odyssey and although the Check Engine light is on and off the car runs intermittently and erratically. Gasoline consumption also suffered. When driving at 40-45 mph I feel like the engine is jerking and the RPM is not stable. The only time it even works at idle, oh my! My 2002 Honda Odyssey has under 100,000 miles on it and has been extremely well maintained since I bought it brand new. I replaced a set of ignition coils as I had a couple of coils marked with engine codes that were logged when the light first came on and the engine started running very rough. Unfortunately the time to return this junk has expired and now I'm stuck. I found another source to purchase a genuine Honda works part (30520-P8E-S01) so I'm going that route as I can't continue driving the car in this condition. I also need to check the stubs to make sure they haven't been corrupted by this Delphi junk. I think I learned my lesson here with Revain parts and these reviews, buyers beware, more research is needed, it's better to go ahead and buy genuine factory Honda parts. I wish I could give this one zero stars or negative stars!
