I love the volume this barrel gives my long, heavy and very straight hair. Get really nice curls. However, there are a few things about this wand that make it far from perfect. The first is the end cap, which really limits the length of the heated part. If you have short hair, this probably isn't a problem. Second, and the reason I won't be holding this, is the kickstand. There is a black plastic piece between the wand and the handle that is meant to be used as a stand to easily place the wand on the counter. However, it gets tangled in my hair so easily when I try to get my hair off the wand. Ideal for resting on the counter, not suitable for use.
