Review on Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Xbox One Video Game by Marc Alvarez

I played the demo when it was released last year and I was still somewhat skeptical of the direction of the game but man Capcom did an amazing job with this rendition. It's a big change for the series as they have gone away from the more combat oriented gameplay we have seen recently, (which to be honest hasn't been good since RE4) to a first person horror survival game. The combat is extremely clunky and that was a brilliant move by the developers as it only adds to the tension of the atmosphere and the real danger surrounding you. Graphically the game is quite good but nothing that is going to blow you out of the water. I was especially unimpressed in the opening moments of the game that took place outside of the house but once you step through that door the game looks really good. The game has ran without a hitch whatsoever, I have been playing on the Xbox One-S and haven't encountered any issues. If you have been hesitating you shouldn't, this game is worth the price of admission (especially on Walmart with Prime).
