Bought to test my NEXT used car. But I tested it on my current machine. Turns out my AC Schrader valve is indeed leaking, but good plastic caps keep the AC system from actually leaking. I always thought the plastic cap was for dust, but no (!) It's very important to keep the coolant in. Please note: you must be slow and patient. You must slowly move the tip/probe along the AC line. But it also allows you to pinpoint the exact location of the leak. In total he had 4 sensors. As a DIYer I will never need them.
