I use this to check valve caps for leaks every time after leaving A/C service. Some air conditioning service companies do not fully tighten the valves. So you get a repair call after a few years. With this gauge I can check if the valves are fully closed and close them if they are not closed.

Easy to use but may give false readings depending on the airflow in the area being tested. Several widespread false alarms were received when checking the area around the vaporizer. Once I blocked the airflow, that section worked fine. It turned out that the leak was in a completely different place.
