Not well impressed for power adapters

When inserting USB connector plugs (I've tried several) two things happened: two didn't fully engage. They fall apart easily. I was planning on putting this under the dash and connecting my GPS and DVR to them. There is no trust in him now and O didn't even try to hit on him. What's the point? There could be five launches if it just held the connectors together securely. I could try using some heat shrink tubing around it, but that doesn't justify a bad fit.
