I live in a cold rainforest climate. My feet stay warm and dry with these shoes. The soles are very comfortable, flexible and have a good grip. I climbed them over boulders and trees. The top looks like ballerinas in a feminine style and looks good in society. The material is durable and warm. I wear socks indoors for more comfort. I have a size 7 feet. I tried size 8 (it was good in the toe area but long). I then bought a size 6 (the fit was perfect in all areas except the toes). Quick fix: This is how I mounted mine. I put the hammer in my sock and put it in front of the heater. The texture shows that the elastic is now relaxed in the toe area.
