So I'm fed up with single use plastic and thought what can I do? I ordered these as we floss A LOT, although it was a good start (I've actually started not using plastic cups, lids, straws and disposable grocery bags) so I opt for flossing. Anyway these things are amazing, this one in particular has a double string and they work REALLY well! Yes, they're more expensive than running to CVS and enjoying the job, but like many other things, the more people switch (supply and demand), the lower the price gets. People spend a lot of money on things they don't need and I prefer to spend my money that way (although I don't see it as a waste, I see it as being more conscious of what I'm doing). I'm just one person (well actually it's my family of four) but at least we're trying to be more aware of our impact on the environment. That's all we can do!
