Individual throttle response, improved performance

I have two pedals, one for a 2004 Mercedes SL500 and one for a 2014 Mercedes C350 Sport. While both machines offer a choice of Comfort/Eco mode or Sport mode, the differences lie in the way the transmission shifts rather than how the accelerator pedal responds. With Pedal Commander I can adjust the throttle response of both cars and, in combination with the different transmission modes, "tune" my cars to my driving style. Unlike naysayers, Pedal Commander not only replaces how hard or how fast you press the pedal, it also improves accelerator pedal response time. The response can be adjusted from soft to instantaneous. And while instant noise is preferred, it can be an issue in low-speed situations like parking lots and traffic jams. The great thing is that you can change the reaction on the fly with the push of a button. Speaking of button presses, the Blue Tooth feature works well, but I don't use it while driving because you need to be distracted, and laws in many states consider touching a wearable device while driving a distraction. At least with a wired controller, you can change settings with a touch and never have to take your eyes off the road. I find the most comfortable setting for me is "City +1" or "+2" for driving around town. On the track, I like the "Sport" mode in combination with the "Sport" transmission setting. I rarely switch it to Sport+ mode as the throttle is too sensitive for a stable ride. After all, it's not a replacement for a chip tune that produces more horsepower - it doesn't - but it does improve speed, power and performance significantly. delivered. If you have a turbocharged car, then also chip tuning. But for non-turbo cars, this is a very affordable performance upgrade. (My experience is that chip tuning non-turbo cars is a waste of money.)
