I have had watchdog water detectors in my homes for many years. saved my bacon twice. And if you need an unobtrusive alarm that fits into tight spaces, or need to locate a sensor just a few feet from the alarm, Watchdog is a great choice. However, if you are looking for an alarm with a very loud and annoying signal, you can put it in the bathroom sink and still hear it. or if you are looking for an alarm with an eye-catching flashing light. at the top of the list. You think the alarm clock itself is cute, like a little robot, or you think it's ugly, like it belongs in a plumber's box. But the volume and the flashing light are really pleasing. In diameter. Unscrew the top (which opens easily), insert a 9V battery and you're done. You can test this by wetting your finger and touching both electrodes. Remove your finger and the alarm will stop. some water on the floor and the alarm will sound. and if you want to increase its ability, just place it on a small cut paper towel. The towel absorbs the water quickly and voila, the alarm goes off. and I said it's really LOUD (that's what you really want). We recommend. In fact, I'll be buying a few more for other spots around the house. I've attached a photo of the instructions that come with the alarm clock. One final note: the alarm clock I'm reviewing is a 9 volt model. Shackcom also sells a floating alarm clock in a multipack. k without light.
