Review on Kodiak Cutting Tools KCT131063 Diameter by Christopher Smith

I got this to replace a broken cheap 1/2" end mill for my mini router. I bought the original 1/2" end mill in a cheap $12 set found elsewhere at Revain. , and this particular end mill is definitely a cut above a cheap set. I wasn't expecting this, but the router started cutting much better. I used to have to be very careful not to get the milling machine very stiff, but with this new Kodiak end mill, that's not so important anymore. I used to have trouble cutting mild steel, but this thing is so sharp and well polished it cuts steel like butter. The surface quality is also significantly better compared to a cheap set. It's definitely a more expensive tool (although still cheap by machine tool standards) and definitely worth the price. Let's see how long this carbide lasts.
