Purchased for use on a Garmin 7607xsv used in a boat tower. The turret has an incline and I wanted the device to rotate towards the rudder. This required a complex cut to make the block. I treat her terribly. After lots of sawdust and several hours of converting large blocks of training wood and teak into small blocks, I purchased this mount. It's not exactly the look I wanted, but it works great and is very durable. The 1.5 inch ball is powerful enough for a Garmin 7 device. Will definitely buy it again.
