UPDATE: This printer will now print forever. The return window is closed. We just wasted a lot of money. We have bought this printer maybe 7 times in 5 years (we always have 2 in service). Started with 7620, then bought it again. Then we bought 7720 a few times. Now we bought 7820 twice. Why do we keep buying this printer? Because it actually takes maybe 18 months for it to become a doorstop. Don't get me wrong, it does its job really well (so far). Pros Prints 11 x 17 like a workhorse Quality that rivals a laser Inexpensive enough to be replaced every 18 months Cons Doesn't like printing images on plain paper (gets tangled and changes paper setting to glossy photo) It's a behemoth (we mean it furniture) The service life is approx. 18 months
