Original Review: I have just received my order for two FlareAlert 9.1.1R Red LED Safety Lights or as the packaging says, a 9-1-1 LED Emergency Beacon. They are very well constructed, very bright and I love it. The magnet is strong and together with the four rubber feet they don't move or scratch. I bought it because of the low price, 10 LEDs and the three modes listed: Flash, Steady and Chase. Well, you won't be hunted down and you won't get 10 LEDs, just one big one. The description on the product page is very different from what you will receive. Now the price is low enough and they still do what I need them to do, although I would have liked the tracking mode. So I'm writing this so others know what to expect when ordering. Here are the features you get, as listed on the box: - 0.5W LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours - Powerful magnetic base - Rugged construction with pressure and water resistance - Durability mode/flash time: 20/60 hours - Super bright 360° visibility - Compact, durable, safe - Powered by 3 AA batteries Description VS. Revain- 10 Red LEEDS- 3 Operating Modes: Steady, Flash and Tracking- Battery Life: Steady State - 8 hours; flash mode - 24 hours; Chase mode - 30 hours - Durable polycarbonate body - Magnetic base - Requires 3 AAA batteries. As you can see, the difference between what you think and what you get is huge. I give 4 stars, it would be 5 if all modes were available. And now you know.
