I was trying to use this for my small direct cable box. It is approximately 5 inches wide and 3.5 inches long. That does not fit. The first thing that really surprised me is the band they show in the picture, HAIR TIE! Not real elastic rope. So far, hair bands only stretch. So it was a bust. I then tried to use it to mount my Google Mini on my TV but it still failed! The back isn't solid and doesn't really stick to your TV. The front has a very small lip to hang it on a mini shelf but it's too small for my TV and there isn't even anything to catch, a simple piece of rubber would solve this problem during production. So even the weight of the Google Mini immediately pulled out the shelf. Was a waste of money.
