Review on Discontinued Canon EOS 50D DSLR Camera Body for Sale by Tui Achara ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

General impressions are mixed, I expected a miracle from canon - a miracle did not happen, not only does kenon traditionally release cameras with fewer chips than competitors, but also what is of dubious quality. Maybe some of the bugs are solved by ating the firmware, but I didn’t have the opportunity to check it. I rented a camera for the day. The desire to climb from canon 5d mark 3 to r-ku disappeared sharply after the test (((.

Pros
  • After 5d mark 3 quickly figured out the controls. Plus, you can remap the buttons for yourself. Old EF lenses fit through an adapter. Focus points all over the field. There is focusing on the face, you can also refocus by clicking on the screen. The presence of a rotary screen makes it easier to shoot from non-standard angles. The screen itself is of good quality. High working ISO. According to ISO, the situation is ambiguous, I described it in more detail in the minuses. I was very pleased with the closing of the matrix with the camera turned off and changing the lens.
Cons
  • I didn’t like, oddly enough, the focus. There are misses in tracking focus on moving objects. I got a few static ones with a lack of lighting. When the object is rotated, it does not immediately find the face. Perhaps the issue is solved with a new firmware, I don’t know - I rented it, so which version was - I shot it with that one. When pulling out of a slightly underexposed part of the picture, an unpleasant noise popped up. ISO was unpleasantly surprised. At ISO 800-1600 it makes the same noise, and somewhere worse than my old 5 d mark3. But the truth, I must note that with a further increase in iso, the situation in r-ki is much better. Those. ISO 4000 is still working, did not check further. Stabilization works constantly on a lens with a stub, even if you don’t aim and don’t shoot anything. Thus, the battery is consumed. You have to turn off the stub or the camera itself. When shooting on a non-native tamron, it draws a circle in jpg for the entire frame). Of course, it is not in the ravine, but the sediment remains unpleasant.
