So far this has worked well. I've had an artificial grass pad for my dog for about nine months now, but it had to be replaced because there isn't enough left to wash. A friend gave me a tray that fits the larger one so I decided to give it a try and since the larger version of the lawn is cheaper than the smaller one (don't know why) it was cheaper too. This lawn is about the same as the one I already had, although there were a few spots that looked hooked. However, I only have a five pound dog, so he's big enough that a small tear won't matter much. I put a large pee pad underneath and just swap it out every few days instead of using the drip tray. This is mainly because my dog, being so small, doesn't really produce much and I'd rather land him on a pillow than sit in a litter box and stink. So I feel almost nothing. He also tends to use the puppy mat I put next to him to pee and only uses the lawn for his #2 business. Very handy in the winter when it's too cold to bring my almost hairless puppy in to take bathroom.
