Quick Fix: Body and Fairing
Our old fastener fell apart and stopped working. Found this on the internet and it was an easy fix. You have to remove the inner console cover to get to the screws for the latch and reinstalling the latch is tricky - the magnetic screwdriver helps as I kept dropping the screws and trying to put them back in until I got the magnetic screwdriver got . and then it was easy. The console lid will now remain closed. Seemingly high price for a small plastic cap, and the color I needed was of course more than the other color. But it's fixed.
