Review on Dorman 955 1508 Toyota Highlander Replacement by Timothy Kiley

Although this mirror was sold by Dorman, it was actually manufactured by Taiwanese company Polyway. I bought it and unfortunately painted it before testing it on the car. After installation, it didn't stop shaking. But since I dyed it I couldn't return it. So I bought another one and installed it in my car before painting it and it shook a lot too. The ones I returned. Also, the body of the mirror is made of one type of plastic, but the part that attaches to the car is made of a different type of plastic and, according to the body shop, is not paintable. I went on eBay and found a used mirror ($35) for my daughter's 2004 Highlander and I just installed it and now the whole Lotta Shakin is NOT happening! I would advise you to avoid the Polyway mirror.
