I originally bought this product to buy my niece a turtle. I decided I didn't want to deal with a turtle. I wanted to use it for their beta test, but I bought a heater for that. I really don't like giving things back so I thought about what it could be used for. I decided my plants were looking a bit drooping. I used them on my plants and they perked up straight away. I noticed that one of the plants was getting darker around the edges, so I had to turn the light down a bit. This lamp is small in size but has good heating effect. I might consider buying a bigger lamp and bulb for more light. The thing really works.
