These candles look good when they work. Unfortunately all 4 of mine only worked with a timer after 2 days. I checked the batteries on a multimeter and they tested just under 3 volts. Okay so I figured they must be battery pigs so I bought 6 batteries of a well known brand. The one where the rabbit beats the drum. After changing the battery I switched all 4 to the timer setting. 2 of them worked for a few minutes and then stopped. The other 2 candles worked 2 or 3 hours and died out. They were all hit and missed when set to "ON". Some continued to function, others stayed ON. They seem to have good continuity with the battery connector inside. I think there is a problem in these candles. I hope that one day some manufacturer will make a decent model of this candle because I like the safety factor and the realism. Otherwise, I can't recommend buying them at all.
