These powerful binoculars are great for hunting and any outdoor adventure. I set up my Nikon 20x56 on a tripod around 5am and scanned the entire ridgeline, seeing a few moose and whitetails 800-1900 yards away. Low-light spread is pretty good, although the image with the 20x optic is a bit dimmer than the elusive Vortex Kaibab, which sells for $1,200. For quality glass, these Nikons show a wide range of colors and depths in low light. Weight is moderate. Obviously at 20x magnification these aren't going to be the lightest binoculars out there. The water resistance and the outer rubber structure work well in the rain. (While it wasn't a problem, the constant annoying rain didn't bother those looks at all.) Nice solid gear made by NIKON with a 100% 25 year guarantee. They definitely compete with any binoculars in this price range.
