I bought them as a Christmas present because I have a pair and they look like slippers. On this pair, a rubber sock came off in just 2 months, while mine had a hole in the sock fabric in less than 6 months. That's a problem!

Pros
- For my fancy ankle, the zero instep design is recommended. I have several pairs and they are decent.
Cons
- The Altra running shoes don't have the wide toe box of running shoes. I had to go back to Timp and Lone Peak.
