Every time I opened the door it felt like I was banging on the stairs to the basement with a broom or mop. I don't have a broom closet so this is a great solution to get some things out of the way. Another great feature is the hooks between spaces to hang your tools - I hang extra grocery bags, my kids dry their wet clothes - very handy.
