Wherever we live, we clean our septic tanks every month. Based on the size of our family/septic tank, one bag per month is enough to process our septic tank, allowing this container to last a year. It is important to us that no unnecessary ingredients are included. We just flush the pack down the toilet and that's it for a month. What we used was more expensive and hard to find, so we were ready for a change. In nearly 30 years of living with septic tanks, we've never had a problem with them, and that's partly because we've treated them with good bacteria and enzymes. We also make sure our toilets and drains don't use products that destroy these beneficial bacteria.
