Review on Gaming chair COUGAR Armor One, on wheels, eco leather, black/orange [cu-armone] by Adam Borkoski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It has some flaws but the product is usable.

I don’t know why there are so many rave reviews, and rather I even regret that I couldn’t sit in it somewhere in the store. If I tried it before buying, I would rather refuse. I would buy more expensive but more convenient. Before buying, I tried sitting on a good orthopedic chair (I'm a programmer, and I spend a lot of time in a chair, so I was looking for something good), the price, of course, also differs several times, but it can't be compared in terms of convenience. This chair, in comparison with an orthopedic chair, is an ordinary stool. After reading my review, you definitely do not need to run and buy orthopedic. They are also all different, I considered one company, of the 7 chairs on which I sat, only 1 fit perfectly. Therefore, before buying any chair, be sure to find it in the store and sit on it and then read the reviews comparing with your feelings. In no case do I advertise any chairs, but if you spend a lot of time at the computer, I think it’s better to look at a good chair, after all, it’s your own health (and it’s better more expensive and in installments, credit. But to each his own). By the way, I refused the orthopedic in question because of their poor quality (of a specific brand), I thought for a long time, but buying an expensive chair that breaks constantly is also not an option. If you do not find fault with this model, it is quite good. Probably suitable for many (judging by the reviews), but I personally needed something else. I will not advise my friends to take it until they themselves sit in it and in any other. In general, read the reviews about the quality, and convenience - to each his own. To sit by yourself, do not hesitate to customize each chair in the store for yourself. You sit on it, you work on it. Store managers need to sell. Other than advertising the brand, they will not help you with anything. Therefore, decide only for yourself (relatives, friends do not work on it). You can say that I find fault, and why not? Describe what I don't like about him. Convenience, to my regret, is also not for me, but this is the most important thing in the chair.

Pros
  • + Nice upholstery with quilted leather. Looks good and generally not cheap. + Height-adjustable armrests. + Everything is metal, I hope it is of high quality, it will not break. + Comfortable headrest. It is felt when you sit close to the back, so that there is support. + Normal stiffness, at first it seemed harsh, then it seemed ok. + Adjustment of the armrests on the sides (I needed it, squeezed it to the maximum), you can extend it in width by unscrewing the adjusting bolts. + Simple mechanism, nothing to break. + All swivel metal parts are lubricated inside the chair. + Fairly easy to assemble (back and seat assembled immediately + armrests)
Cons
  • - Long seat 56 cm. In fact, without a pillow from the kit, you can’t sit normally (by the way, I’m probably experimenting on this subject, I’ll try to add it later, but the first hour without a pillow passed so-so, so I’m only sitting with it). - Adjustment of armrests in the parties. In general, it’s not quite a minus, but it would be better if it was fixed, often this turn only interferes, and I don’t see the point in swivel armrests. - Like many, the right plastic plug does not screw on - maybe I'll think of something later, but why? For the price of 15-17k per chair, I don't have to go through the nonsense of modifying the chair to screw on the plastic plug. - Far from being like a "poured" one you sit in it, I have a height of 168-170, weight 72.5 kg. - The pillow under the lower back is poorly regulated, often as if a little obliquely (I will also experiment again, maybe I hung it somehow wrong). - There is a gap between the seat and the back. And big enough. About 1 cm, on the one hand, on the other everything is ok. (before sending a review, I took a picture of this gap, it is now on both sides) Adjusted to the maximum. Perhaps there should be a gap (but then on both sides), so it is possible to avoid creaking from eco-leather (it does not creak yet, but in theory it should). - With a long sitting (I work from 8-10 hours a day), the seat of the chair is squeezed - I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but rather at the end of the working day, it’s not very comfortable to sit on it. - Poor gas lift. A couple of times I failed to get it down. Periodically, when I sit down (I don’t jump into it), I can hear the gas lift lowering the chair. Sometimes the feeling is as if it is being squeezed lower into the crosspiece - I hope it does not rest on the floor. - You should not lean on the armrests when getting up from the chair, 1 time one armrest fell to the mark below. Such a problem on one position, but still. The chair is not yet a month old. - Manufactured in China (I'm not against their production, rather the opposite, but I think the jambs with the chair are connected precisely with this, they saved 5 bucks). - the seat sags, acquiring your shape, it becomes very unpleasant to sit.
