I bought this because I need a USB hub that also charges my phone while I'm using it. I can confirm that this is exactly the case. I don't have to connect anything in any particular order (like microskirts have in the past). I can plug in the hub and then the power cord, or turn on the hub and plug it into the phone, either way it's charging more than 1A (typically 1.3-1.5A). My review unit has standard USB ports, so it can actually go beyond that level with a USB-C to USB-C fast charger. I haven't tried the HDMI display, but it gives me a warning on my Windows 10 laptop when I plug it in. that the display can be limited. It's ok, I've only used it on my phone to plug in USB ports, HDMI is more of a bonus. Very happy with this purchase. Will be buying more uGreen products (I already have a few cables in my cart as we speak). I look forward to trying more of their accessories.
