Useful and affordable

I bought this USB-C hub so my Android tablet would have regular USB-A ports and it works great. I can connect USB devices such as a mouse, keyboard, and memory cards to my tablet. The best part is that I can still charge my tablet with USB devices because the USB-C hub has a charging port. Please note that some devices cannot use HDMI due to hardware limitations. This is for my tablet, I can't use the HDMI port, but that's because my tablet can't, no fault of the USB-C hub. I haven't tried the…

It heats up when charging the laptop above it, otherwise it works fine.

My Pixelbook now has regular USB ports and an external display. I leave the adapter at home and it's nice to unplug so I can take my computer with me. Then when I get home I plug this thing in and plug in my keyboard, mouse, secondary display and power. It gets very hot when charging for a long time. Not too hot to touch, but almost. I added two 90 degree Type-C adapters, now it sits behind my laptop, out of place. Sometimes I wish it had audio, ethernet, other HDMI or more USB ports. Sometimes

Works but heats up if used continuously for more than 15 minutes. UGREEN's customer service is fantastic.

Update: UGREEN contacted me and they were very nice and tried to help me solve the problem. Their customer service was fantastic, they answered all my questions and even gave me more information than I asked for. Excellent customer service. That's why I rate it. The product "works" so that's a plus and it's very compact BUT. Within 5 minutes of using it (with Samsung Dex on my phone) it got too hot to touch so I let it cool down, tried again with the same problem so I decided to contact Ugreen,

Will charge my Pixel 3a XL

I bought this because I need a USB hub that also charges my phone while I'm using it. I can confirm that this is exactly the case. I don't have to connect anything in any particular order (like microskirts have in the past). I can plug in the hub and then the power cord, or turn on the hub and plug it into the phone, either way it's charging more than 1A (typically 1.3-1.5A). Update 2: Apparently the connection errors I'm experiencing are a common Dex issue. That had nothing to do with the product. If anyone has a problem, try plugging your Samsung charger into the hub itself and your phone will charge. I haven't had any problems since I started connecting my charger to this USB C hub.
