I really wanted to love this fan but it had too many problems I think. PROS 1) I liked the unique digital display that shows fan speed and battery percentage 2) The oscillating/charging base is a nice feature too. 3) The fan battery can power the vibrating base when no charger is connected to the base. CONS 1) The diameter of the fan blades is too small to push a good amount of air. 2) The last 10% of the battery seemed to drop at about 1% per second, so I don't think the display is properly calibrated. 3) The charging terminals on the bottom of the fan are not recessed and are always powered by the battery. I think it might short out the battery. This is a very bad idea, especially for a lithium-ion battery. I wouldn't feel safe carrying it in my gear bag and since I wanted it for travel it was a deal breaker. I returned this fan and bought another which I thought was better and safer, although I miss the display.
