I love these pants! I bought these because I love my shorts but I really needed to protect my legs on the road. I've had too many bug/tick bites this year and just can't go to the doctor anymore. By the way, I hate wearing pants in summer so these pants solved my problem. I searched extensively for what I needed and found these very well thought out hiking pants. I love that I can just slip them on, sync the bottom for protection, slip the boots on without laces and quickly feel very confident before running out to the yard. That's important to me first thing in the morning! The best part is that later in the day I can wear them as a capri or shorts depending on the weather and location. I immediately go back to shorts when stepping out of the grass or woods. That's why I give them 5 stars. I will definitely buy another pair in dark blue. I have no complaints, just rave reviews, but would love to see them in some color in the future. Finally, I suggest that the seller advertises the ankle lacing because it is very important and I wasn't sure what that feature is before buying the pants. I think it will be helpful for buyers to know that it is there and you can tighten or loosen your ankle. I really love these pants.
