I bought this to charge my iPhone 8+ in the car while using maps and listening to music, two things I think that most people will do with this charger. . My battery is still dead, simple as that. slower I think. The magnet has a little sweet spot and is pretty weak when using a standard Apple iPhone case, but I think you could use 3m tape to attach it directly to the back of the case. Even if it doesn't appeal to me. This charger might work for some (smaller phone, no cards when using) but definitely a disappointment for me.
