Review on 🏠 Rainproof Outdoor Cat Shelter: Weatherproof Outside Kitty House with Escape Door by Misty Caldwell

This little cat house is beautiful! I have four wildcats that I have been taking care of for many years. I live in Oregon where fall, winter and spring are very wet and sometimes snowy. I hated my kittens having to shelter under the porch of my house. Since buying it about 2 months ago we've had more rain than usual and my kitties LOVE IT! I often check the inside and it's bone dry! The sloping roof and raised sides prevent rain from running off the edges and let it run easily down your back. The roof lifts and has a locking hinge so you don't have to hold it up to clean the interior or change your linens. It comes with a thin wool pad inside which is a thick nylon material on the bottom. I see that there is also a heating mat that I will buy him in the future. This house is very sturdy and I love the little window box on the side and can't wait to plant cat grass and catnip in it in the spring. My neighbor assembled it for me and drilled some holes in the bottom of the window box for drainage. There's an emergency door on the back that looks like a cat door in case another small animal tries to get in while they're there, but the openings are small enough that a full-size raccoon or skunk can't fit inside. (There are raccoons and skunks everywhere in my house and the occasional coyote!). I like knowing my kittens are safe there. It has small round windows so it lets in some light and you can look outside as well. You can remove one of the round plexiglass windows to run a cable through to add a heat mat or a small camera (which I can't wait to spy in there! Lol!) The construction is SO SOLID! My neighbor who assembled it was a master builder and he was really impressed with both the craftsmanship and the good construction. Overall I am very happy with this purchase! Four of my savages fit in well, and two of them are quite handsome! lol! Sure, they stack on top of each other, but I think even if they didn't, each would fit comfortably. They all logged in within a day of installation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has kittens or wild animals! And although it was for my kitties, it arrived just before Christmas and was a present for me! 🎁 🎄 🐈‍⬛ ❤️
