I tried this with an EVGA GeForce 1050 ti, the HDMI output on this adapter and the DisplayPort input on a Dell P1914Sc monitor. It behaved as if nothing was connected. I know the graphics card output is ok by testing direct HDMI on another monitor. Once I was able to connect the DisplayPort directly from the graphics card to the Dell monitor, that worked fine too, leaving only that adapter as a non-working variable. This could be the result of a compatibility issue, but that was my experience in my particular scenario. I also found the shutter button difficult to use. It was very hard and flat and took some effort to turn off. I felt like I was about to break something.
