Review on Cambro 12SFSCW135 12 Quart Container Polycarbonate by Anne Nishioka

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Have wanted one for years, never had to wait.

I don't know why I waited so long to get it. When I first started salting meat years ago, I bought large ziplock plastic bags, hoping they wouldn't leak (out of nowhere), and put them in a pot in the fridge. Then I would have to throw them away when I'm done. I finally gave up and gave up on two of them and they are so useful and comfy. I've had them for about 5 months now and they're holding up well. I bought: Cambro (SFC6451) Lids for Camsquares® 6 and 8 liter polycarbonate food containers Cambro Camwear 8 liter (without lid) Cambro 6SFSCW135 Camsquare food containers 6 liter polycarbonate clear NSF when I bought them they didn't come with lid so I bought 2. I can just recommend her. Previously there were at least 10 brine/sugar brines with various seasonings per 6 liters for whole chicken, boneless pork chops and a small Boston ham. I will put about 2 liters. Place cold water and ice cubes in a food container, then use about 2 cups of water on the stove to dissolve the saline solution. I then pour the hot brine mixture into a food container and mix well. The hot/cold combination was not a problem. Once the temperature stabilizes, I put my brine in, adding extra water to cover it if needed. Then to the fridge. Do not pour boiling hot water/liquid directly into an empty container so you don't know how it will react. your things. The container is easy to clean with liquid detergent and a soft sponge. The 6 and 8 liter containers I bought are good for storage but due to the slightly larger lid and nozzle design, they don't fit completely inside each other. I see many other uses for food prep and short-term storage. If I needed more, I would buy more of these without hesitation.
