After researching watering kettles I settled on this one because I like how the gauge shows the optimum water temperature range and is easy to read. I also like the brushed metal, shape and size. The handle and spout are angled so the spout points slightly to the left when you hold it straight. This is done for ergonomic reasons to make pouring easier with the right hand. I thought it was a design flaw until I used it. Easy to clean with a regular cup brush. The spout is narrow, so you'll need a small brush with a long, flexible handle. If you received yours and the holes in the lid (which should be away from the handle and your hand) are in the wrong place, you can easily loosen and twist the sensor. I am very happy with this item and definitely an upgrade from the standard short/wide mouth large kettle.
