Extremely disappointed. "Made in Italy" promises real quality. They certainly look exactly like the photos. But when I tried to install it in a plastic socket that was coming loose, the first one fell apart under the pressure of a screwdriver tip. Keep in mind that the receiving material is plastic, much softer than the wood they were made for. I even drilled a small hole for larger diameter brass inserts. I was concerned that the plastic would fail, either rip off immediately or tear. So I was mentally ready to fix the plastic with epoxy. I was never prepared for the BRASS (!) to simply get out of the notch. It broke under such light force from a screwdriver that I figured it must be one bad example. no ALL 4 attempts I've tried have failed in the same failure mode. For the 2nd and 3rd I only needed minimal strength. I ended up filling the hole with epoxy, drilling the next day and screwing the base back on and holding like a champ. Not even worth returning those "brass" liners.
