My new rake had the option of only switching on the light during operation, but not my rake. I bought one and just had to cut the wire from the ignition to the headlights, there was a hole in the dash for the switch which fitted perfectly. I switched the lamps to LEDs so the stress on the switch was minimal. Then I bought a green LED for my red mower. Be sure to read and measure your needs. It took a while to find this one and it works great with 2020 Craftsman mowers, the standard shifters for small nautical style woks.
