Pros: very AFFORDABLE, stackable (pic 1; I stacked 3 of these in my closet with ease), easy to assemble, holds men's size 11 chukka boots with extra space (pic 2; would they fit a size 13?), the sides of the box are square (not slanted or beveled) so they fit nicely on the shelf and are the perfect size, not too big and not too small. I'm having a really hard time digesting the many other reviews that say these boxes are cheap and poorly made. Yes, they're cheap - they're less than $1.50 each - but what can you expect for less than the price of a cup of coffee? If you want good sturdy boxes that can stack 10, you'll have to spend $10 or $12 each. These more expensive boxes take up a lot more space due to their thick walls, thick lid, and tapered design. Open the end to get at your shoes (Photo 3), the ribbed plastic is hard to see (e.g. makes it difficult to tell the difference between black and blue shoes without opening the box), and they are not big enough to work with. Boots or women's boots. Also, the ribbed plastic material is difficult but not impossible to write on and the labels don't stick well - it's a very minor point really, but I'll list it in case it's important to a potential buyer.
