Both Wires in the package Work on Some Devices?

I received this today. My old AUX cable is getting sensitive so I thought this was a great bargain. However, both (!) cables do not work. I plugged in both ends into the appropriate slots as I do with my old AUX but- nope. They both don't work. I just submitted a return request and no thanks I don't want another replacement.Update: I tried using this with a portable speaker and it does work wonderfully with that device. I'm giving 3 stars because I am getting use out of it in this way, but not from the other device. Very strange.

These work well as replacement for monster cord. They look good.

Cons

But only use it on one headphones
