Upon receipt I double checked my order to make sure I ordered the plus size version. I didn't have it - it's just a little bigger than it looks in the pictures online. This isn't necessarily an issue if you don't have enough mounting space (and free space behind the mount since the headboard is nearly 2.25 inches deep). The mounting hole should be about 1.5" in diameter and the outer frame should be about 2" in diameter. Even the wires are large - both in thickness and length. They easily reach from the back of the car console to the head unit or in-dash amplifier. I have tested the device on the stand and do not expect any problems. One final caveat: the 3.5mm audio jack input cable has a pair of RCA connectors. This is probably what you need if you want to connect the cables to a third-party head unit or amplifier. However, if you plan on using this with a source that has a 3.5mm output jack, you'll need an adapter or three to connect everything properly.
