purchased this for my 4 year old. While he can't fully control it, he enjoys watching it go crazy. Since the tires come out past the bumpers it doesn't get broken when it runs into things, just flips over and keep going. The charge doesn't last very long, which is why I gave it 4 stars. but it does have a USB charger for the car battery which charges quickly and is easy to do. The remote however, does not come with rechargeable batteries or a plug, so I am constantly reminding him to turn it off when he's done. So far it's been great, no problems, breakage, or malfunctions.
