The product seems like a great idea. Utilized one time on 4 different bicycles during a 2-hr duration in which it rained for 20-30 minutes. The handlebar grips, gears, and brakes are all soaked. This product does not seem to be waterproof at all. Additionally, upon taking the covers off there is a glue or plastic like substance flaking off from inside the covers. It is all over the floor in little flakes. Great idea, but the product is nothing like advertised and will be returned as soon as I arrive home. The product is listed as waterproof on the selling site but in the review description as water resistant. Not sure of the difference but it did not protect my bikes from minimal rain.
