These are not waterproof/ water-resistant, and disintegrate from inside.

The product seems like a great idea. Utilized one time on 4 different bicycles during a 2-hr duration in which it rained for 20-30 minutes. The handlebar grips, gears, and brakes are all soaked. This product does not seem to be waterproof at all. Additionally, upon taking the covers off there is a glue or plastic like substance flaking off from inside the covers. It is all over the floor in little flakes. Great idea, but the product is nothing like advertised and will be returned as soon as I…

Keeps your handlebar tape dry and bug free!

Used in conjunction with the Gist Road Bike Bra. Drove 1,800 miles with it and it kept my bar tape dry even though we drove for hours through torrential downpours with my Lemond up on the roof of the suv. The Gist Road Bike Bra kept the bugs from making a huge mess on the frame! Totally worth the price.

Doesn't appear to be wind resistant.

It ripped while I was transporting my bike on a rack that was attached to the back of my vehicle. I believe it was the wind. The water-resistant material may not totally shield your bike from heavy rainfall or water splashes!

good protection for my opinion

fit on my handlebars with bar end mirror good. drove 100 miles with it on and protected the bike handlebars well very pleased with product.

Very poor quality materials

The concept for this cover is a good one. However, the nylon used is extremely thin and cheap in my opinion, and not worth the cost to buy it. I wouldn't purchase again; I feel ripped off by poor quality.

Just what was needed.

This handlebar cover works great. Used it on a 1000 mile round trip road trip with no problems. No visible signs of wear. Update, second 1000 mile trip with the cover. No signs of wear. Keep all the bug splat off the handle bars. Easy to clean. Highly recommended

Came apart after a day on the car rack

These seemed to be decently made but after a day on the bike rack on the back of our Subaru Accent both of them came apart at the seams.

Worked well on our 4K road trip!

We drove 4000 miles with 2 of thrse covering the handlebars are controls on our Ebikes. They rode slightly higher than the CR-Vs roof so took a lot of wind and some heavy rsins and held up well. I did use a short bungie cord at each end to hold the. Loose ends tighter to the handlebars to keep them from flapping too much in the wind. I also put a small plastic bag over the controls underneath the cover as extra protection, but don't know if that was needed since all seemed dry even after a…

Rips during trip best in my review

Size wise, great to cover handle bars. However, the way it is designed causes issue with tears due to flapping in the wind. There needs to be more tie-downs to keep cover snug to handlebars. Mid-way through recent trip, after I discovered many rips and tears in cover, I tied down ends with cords. This helped to prevent big rips but still got more. Material isn't strong or thick enough to endure while being transported on rack on back of car due to wind flopping around.

A bit cheap, but does the job

We travel with our e-bikes on the back of our car we tow behind our motorhome. We remove the battery and seats when traveling, but needed a way to protect the handle bars and electronics from rain and sun. This works pretty well. I have a cruiser style bike, with curved handle bars, and this just barely fits. I like the two way zippers and the Velcro straps keeps it secure when driving. Tears easily - my new review

It is meant as protective cover but one trip on the road and it tore substantially. I have it duct taped and it is holding together, but not impressed with the quality of the seams.
